Mexico day 1

My friend Courtney took Shaun and I to the Provo Airport to head down to Arizona. We rode with Kyle, Chelsea and Todd. We then landed in the Mesa Arizona airport. My parents, Courtney and her friend pulled up in two vehicles. The yukon and the tiny red car. Shaun and I hopped into the Yukon Xl. I kind of volunteered Shaun to drive the Yukon. We had a lot more space than in the tiny red car. We then headed on our 4 hour drive to Puerto Penasco. We made a little stop on the way to Mexico to Subway. We got to the resort and unpacked our stuff and headed straight to the beach.

This is our bedroom, I forgot how it felt to sleep in a KING size bed! So much more space!

Before we went to the beach we went to the Market.  We didn't buy anything but it was so much fun to just walk around and talk to all of the sellers.

They always have the funniest shirts, this was my favorite!

They have the cutest little toys and trinkets.

Gotta love these HUGE Mexican Sombreros.

After we were at the Market we then searched for a Mexican candy store. If anyone knows the Gray Family, knows that we are all suckers for mexican candy. We found this store and could not have been more excited about the picture of Lucas (one of our favorite candies).

Chelsea and I found the jack spot.

After the Market we went straight to the beach. That water was absolutely wonderful! I love the warm water compared to California.

We made sure to get our tan on!

Of course we must not forget the delicious mangos with Chile and Chamoy. Shaun thinks that a mango should not have anything extra on it, however I think it is yummy!

Not sure what he was doing but he was carrying these large rocks towards me.

Boys will be boys! I have no idea what they were doing.

Something that I love about Shaun is that is like a little kid at heart. I love how much kids are simply drawn towards him. I am convinced I am going to be the bad cop and he is going to be the good cop whenever we have kids.

The kids kept telling Shaun to bury them like a mermaid.

We ended the night with "Dirty Street Tacos" from this little taqueria. I got pork and carne asada. I seriously could be the happiest girl in the world eating street tacos everyday alll day! I loved the spicy salsa I was so happy!!! It was a great first day in Mexico.
