Happy Halloween

This was our first Halloween together as a married couple! We decided to be The man in the Yellow Hat and Curious George! I love being Shaun's little side kick :) As a newly wed couple it is not always easy to find something to do on Halloween. It is not like we would go to some huge singles party here in Provo or hand out candy to our neighbors (since most of our neighbors are college kids themselves. We were invited by a girl in my class Katrina to come to a Murder Mystery date! I have always wanted to go to one of these! So we were all assigned a character I was Dr. Frost and Shaun was Dirte. We are all supposed to act like our characters and just act like we were at a party. We all were having conversations and trying to find out clues about each other. There were about 8 couples there! 

Bottom line --I was the killer! 

It was a blast having Derek and Amanda there! We also invited Taylor and Thomas (Taylor is Amandas cousin) Thomas made the perfect cop! It was a night full of laughter and mystery!

Halloween 2015

 This is how we do Halloween at UCDH! We all have these ugly tan scrubs...so we decided to use them to our advantage and dress up as inmates! It was hilarious and our teachers got a kick out of it as well. Some of my favorite characters were Pooh-bear of course! We also had a Loofa, which I thought was hilarious! Most of us were inmates and boy some of them looked too good :) With fake tattoos and piercings we could have had anyone fooled :) The funny thing is that we had people touring our school to see if they wanted to be future students. I wonder what they were thinking when they saw us !

Ward party and halloween ski lift

Shaun and I dressed up for our ward Halloween Party. We were The man in the Yellow hat and I was Curious George! You can't totally see my outfit below because I was freezing! First we went to the ward party and then we headed over to our friends house Carter and Kate Babcock. We then ate dinner with them and then we were headed to the mountains. Shaun surprised me and we went on the Sundance Halloween Ski lift! I have been wanting to go on this for as long as I can remember! So I was very happy with this surprise! I lost my tail on the lift! lol It was absolutely beautiful looking up above seeing all the lights of the cabins! After that we went to Carter and Kate's house and watched some movie. Honestly I can't remember because I fell asleep. That happens a lot :)

Fall Photo Shoot

Today we had a little Senior photo shoot up the Canyon at Sundance! Lauren is Brittani's friend who is starting up her photography business. She is incredible and so much fun to work with!  I am so grateful for these girls. Each one of them has something special that they bring to our friendship. They are all so sweet and loving! I have truly enjoyed getting to know them over the past year and look forward to many more memories! We graduate in April 2015, so little less than 6 months! These girls have been along the ride for every step of the way! 

Naked Fish

This Saturday night all of us girls had a girls night at Naked Fish <3 It is a sushi place! You can't tell from the pictures but we are all sitting down on the ground, which I thought was cool. It was so much fun to catch up with these girls. On the right is Corinne and Lindsay they were my roommates at Highland Park last year, when I met Shaun :) We laughed and talked all night long. I am very grateful for these girls and their friendship. I love girls nights! 

Boards review course

This weekend we went to this absolutely phenomenol Boards Review Course! Courtney, Brittani and I all stayed the weekend at Courtney's Grandmas house. It was 27 hours full of information!! I loved every minute of it, and these two girls made it a total blast! I have loved every adventure of this schooling. I have definitely grown and learned so much from Dental Hygiene School. I am so grateful for schooling and for all the faculty at my school. Utah College of Dental Hygiene School has been such a blessing in my life! I am going to take the boards in February! Lets pass this thing!!

Shaun and I have been wanting to go on a drive through the canyons to go and look at all of the fall colors. I just love Shaun and his adventurous self. He is always up for going on an adventure. I absolutely love Utah and the fact that there are actually 4 seasons here. Fall time is my FAVORITE time of the year! I'm couldn't be more grateful for a sweet loving and hard working husband.
