Snowboarding at Sundance

Saturday we went to Sundance to go Skiing and Snowboarding! Shaun has been skiing since he was 4 years old. When he was in high school he went like 90 times in a season. He is crazy! Needless to say he is WAY better than I am at snowboarding. I felt so silly, I have only been literally a handful of times. I am from Arizona so if we wanted to go snowboarding we had to drive 3 to 4 hours and it was a whole day ordeal. This was my first time with Shaun and he was SO patient with me. I know that he would have wanted to go down the steeper slopes and go a million times more up and down the slopes. However he stayed by my side and we rode up the lift together each time. I really had a blast. I was learning to do toe side better. I had a blast and had fun watching Shaun do tricks. I love hanging out with my best friend. Shaun is exactly what I need!

Changes

Change
Change is good
Change is inevitable
Change Happens...

There are going to be a lot of changes that will be happening here in the next few months. I recently took and passed my written Anesthesia test. Now my next hurdle is to pass my National Board of Dental Hygiene Exam. Just a 9 hour exam, no big deal. I take that April 8th, and that is around the corner. Luckily I went to an awesome review course and that has helped me direct my studies a little bit better.

I graduate April 17th! I have worked so hard and it has definitely been a long road but it has all been worth it! I have really enjoyed getting to know all the girls in my class over these past 18 months. At times it seemed slow but it really had gone by so fast. Just like a mission does :) I had mock boards this past Saturday and they went well. Its very intimidating knowing that in just over a month I will be doing all of this by myself. Giving injections and everything! The whole package! I will find a job and start working for a dentist! It is crazy how fast life goes!

I am excited for the new change. I am excited to finally be making money and start saving for exciting things to come. I am thankful for a sweet husband who has held my hand through it all. He has been more than supportive and for that I am grateful. Thankful for a husband who constantly cheers me on, especially when I get down on myself. You are my rock and I love you Shaun.

Here is to another month of Scaling teeth, meeting deadlines, passing boards and GRADUATING!
