Alyssa's Homecoming

We came down to Arizona because my little sister Alyssa came home from serving a full time mission in Pocatello, Idaho. Saturday Morning we were able to go to do a Session at the Gilbert Temple! It is such a beautiful temple. What a sweet spirit is felt inside the temple. We went with my mother and father. It was the perfect way to start out the day. (P.s. I know the picture is a little blurry but I am just having fun with some editing apps)

Saturday Afternoon we went to a park to take some family photos! It is always an interesting one with the "Gray" family when we take photos. Trying to get everyone to smile at the same time, or make sure that someone is not talking. Needles to say, our gem of a photographer Cat Jones is really patient with us.

We thought it would be funny to take a "Millennial" picture. So Cat got a picture of us all taking selfies. I think that was the picture that turned out the best, because we were all being ourselves and not posed in position for a picture. Well see how the real pictures come out.
On our way to Family Photos!

I am sure grateful for these sisters of mine. Each one is VERY different but when we are all together we all get along just great. I love the differences that we have and how we all have different hopes and dreams. (From left to right) Alyssa- just returned from her mission and plans to attend BYU-Idaho starting in April and wants to major in Nutrition. Chelsea just got her bachelors in Nursing and currently works in the ER at Utah Valley Medical Center. Courtney is in 10th grade and just got her permit (scary). I on the right will be graduating from Dental Hygiene school in April. I sure love these girls! I am lucky that I get to live close to Chelsea and her husband Todd, just a few blocks away.

After our family photos Shaun and I went to Rockin R. Ranch for a life long friend Jayme's reception. It was the sweetest reception ever! My husband is not one for receptions, but he said that this was by far his favorite! It was a classic country reception. Everyone had their cow boy hats and boots, and just really laid back. You should have seen Jayme's face when I showed up. I did not think that I would be able to come because I didn't know I would be in Arizona at the same time.

Jayme is a friend from when we were both 5 years old. She is one of my most supportive friends. She would always come to almost every single gymnastics meet that I had. I called her my "Good Luck Charm." She has been a wonderful friend throughout all these years and I am so happy that I was able to make it to the most important day of her life. It was a wonderful time! We had steak, chicken and potatoes. They had the cutest set up, they even had cow bells to ring and cow boot shaped bubbles. I love this girl and couldn't be happier for her!

After Church today we drove home so we could eat before heading straight to the airport. Stephany and I then decided to pick Shaun up, because he had started walking. Instead of getting inside the car he proceeded to jump on top of the hood. Needles to say he made it all the way to the house laying on top of the car. Wouldn't expect anything less from this kid :)

Model Pose.

It was wonderful to be able to see family that I haven't seen in a while. I am so grateful for the continued support this family gives each one of us. Alyssa gave a wonderful address focusing on family. I love seeing how much Alyssa has grown spiritually and hearing about all her experiences that she was able to have on her mission. I am grateful for her example and excited to see where life takes her next.
